Welcome to the Boxhill Heli Club website.  May I first thank Nigel Fraser Ker for updating our website and creating the Members Forum section.

The Heli Club membership has just recently been expanded to 60.  As with all Clubs we have our core members who fly very regularly and those who only fly in perfect weather conditions.  You will find that all members are very approachable and keen to help.  All levels of flying abilities are catered for and there is always somebody on hand to give advise and guidance, just don't be afraid to ask.

The Club is run on a very relaxed basis, though there are strict safety rules that must be complied to, safety is paramount. 

A good selection of models are flown, IC mainly Raptors 30, 50 & 90; Vigors 90.  Electric Trex450 & 600.  Scale Bell 47 (petrol).

Frequencies are issued to new member to avoid clashes with other members and a 'peg' board is operated to control the frequencies in use during flying.

During the recent AGM, a proposal was tabled to extend our entrance road.  Once this has been agreed with all parties and a date set, I would ask that all members attend over the weekend to install it.  Once installed, it will allow you to drive right up to TX control and park on hard standing.
