BASIC TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT
If you would like to offer us TV/Film work we would be delighted to hear from you.  However, experience has taught us to check a few basic details first.  They are as follows:

1.  Have you sufficient budget?  In the past we have been contacted by companies asking us to fly on the basis of expenses only.  Under special circumstances we are prepared to negotiate but in general we don't fly for free.  Our prices start at £250 per person per day plus expenses and any requirement for equipment adds to this. In the case of professional camera ships, which require a highly skilled pilot and camera operator, the costs are considerably more.

2.  Booking fees.  On numerous occasions we have been booked for events only to be let down at the last minute.  This causes considerable disruption and is why we have reluctantly been forced to charge a non-refundable booking fee of £100 which is payable in advance.  We will consider ourselves committed only when that payment has been received.

3.  For work involving flying, do you have permission for us to fly in/over the intended area?  We will not fly over land without permission from the relevant owner/authority and we will not fly over/close to people except with extremely small helicopters.  Safety is our absolute number one priority.

4.  Will we be required to fly over water?  Flying over water presents a considerable risk to our aircraft and a simple mechanical failure can result in a total loss of the machine.  For this reason we ask for insurance to be provided under these circumstances.

5.  We do not fly in winds over 25mph or during heavy rain.
